Quick rules

Klondike · Free

Build columns downward in alternating colors: a black 8 accepts a red 7. Move a valid run together. Only a King or a run starting with a King can fill an empty column. Build the four foundations up from Ace to King in the same suit. Choose draw one or draw three in Settings.

Spider · Pro

Build columns downward by rank. You can place a card on the next higher rank regardless of suit, but a group moves together only when it is a descending run in the same suit. Complete a same-suit King-to-Ace run to remove it. Fill empty columns before dealing a new row. Choose one, two or four suits in Settings.

FreeCell · Pro

Build columns downward in alternating colors and foundations upward by suit. Use the four free cells to hold single cards temporarily. Empty cells and columns determine how many cards you can move together.

Pyramid · Pro

Select two uncovered cards whose ranks add up to 13. Aces count as 1, Jacks as 11, Queens as 12 and Kings as 13. A King is removed on its own. Clear the pyramid to win.

TriPeaks · Pro

Select an uncovered card one rank higher or lower than the current waste card; suit and color do not matter. Aces connect to both 2 and King. Deal from the stock when you need a new card. Clear all three peaks to win.

Mouse and keyboard

In Klondike, Spider and FreeCell, drag a card or a valid run onto its destination. You can also select a card and then its destination. Double-click a card to move it automatically when a legal destination exists. Pyramid and TriPeaks use single clicks.

Purchase and restore Pro

  1. Use the Apple Account that purchased Pro in the Mac App Store.
  2. Open Solitaire Salon → Solitaire Salon Pro… in the menu bar.
  3. Choose Restore Purchase and complete Apple's sign-in prompt if it appears.

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. A connection to Apple is needed to purchase or restore it. If the price is unavailable, check your internet connection and try opening the Pro window again. Pending purchases may need approval before access changes.

Saved games and settings

Your current game is saved when you leave the app. Progress, statistics and preferences stay on your Mac; they do not sync between devices. Starting a new game replaces the current deal. Restart replays that deal from the beginning.

Requirements and testing

Solitaire Salon supports macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. If you use TestFlight, include the build number in your support email. TestFlight purchases are for testing and do not represent a paid App Store purchase.

Privacy

The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs. Read the Privacy Policy for details about local data, Apple purchases, support emails and this website.
